Twin earthquakes in northern Venezuela on June 24th caused massive devastation. Thousands of lives have been lost, and countless homes and buildings have collapsed, leaving many more too unstable to inhabit.
This tragedy directly impacted our brethren, resulting in seven confirmed deaths and leaving dozens homeless. Right now, hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans are in dire need of water, food, shelter, sanitation, and medical care. This is a vital opportunity for the Lord’s Church to reflect God’s love and provide urgent relief.
Since 2018, the West Broward Church of Christ has worked hand-in-hand with evangelists in Venezuela to spread the Gospel and support their communities. Over the years, we have successfully deployed more than $265,000 in this nation. Because of this long-standing relationship, we have a vetted, trusted network of Christians already on the ground mobilizing to help.
The needs are both immediate and long-term. When you give through the West Broward Church of Christ, 100% of your donation will go directly to key members of the Church in Venezuela who are purchasing goods and meeting the exact needs of those affected.
